COME ON BOYS!!!!! It was the great man's dream, and sadly, he never got to see his beloved Saints reach the Premier League. But in honour of our late, great owner, tomorrow (promotion pending) should be about him, Let's win it for Markus, and all the money he put into the club - Let's make it worth it! COYR!!!!
Even a Pompey fan said to me that it was a shame our owner wasn't here to see the last two seasons. Markus was only here for a short time but forever a Saint
Sounds like the players have as much respect for him as we do, I've just read Adam Lallana's interview on the OS.
Win or lose tomorrow, i'll be giving the lads a standing ovation at the end of the match, it's the very least that they deserve and make no mistake, we WILL be a Premier League club in 2014......thanks to Markus.
Don't get me wrong fatletiss, I think we will be too AND stay there for a long time....i'm just saying that by the remote chance that we don't make it this season, i'll still be very proud of the club this season.
Well said our club is a big part of our lives and without Markus we may not have a club. It's so sad he won't be there tomorrow taking pictures like at wembley but we can make his memory live on forever. Saint forever.
You get the impression that Marcus's passing will have crancked up Nicola's determination to drive on and he must realise and be moved that saints fans appreciate their efforts to save us and our affection for Marcus when in pretty much every game the fans at some point sing their tribute to our former owner to show that collectively we dont forget our own.
