It says on the the front of a newspaper £13,000 for a Wimbledon ticket ! for the final, you would have to pay me that to go there, tennis is a back garden sport as anyone can play it, mind you I would like to see Britain win for the first time in about 70 years.
that is a fair bit of wedge even if it is for the final. they will get it though, they wouldnt be charging it unless there was some out there willing to cough it up
its £130 for a mens final ticket, problem is its like everything, only 500 "public fans" can get tickets. Other members pay for a 5 year pass which reserves them a seat on the #01 court for 5 years, they pay £27,000 for this but they are allowed to sell them, these are who is selling them at extortionate prices but they do include VIP access for the day, so probably once in a lifetime opportunity, if you have the cash. rip off yes, but its not the norm.
