Most goals conceded in away games.
3 more than Bolton or Blackburn, who are the next worst.
Only 6 conceded at home though, bizarrely.

I completely agree with this comment. This record doesn't mean that much. It would be more useful to look at overall goal difference. That being said, its better to be Spurs and concede 1000 goals in the league than (say) be Blackpool and have conceded 60 odd.

All that record shows is that Spurs have been ever present in the Premier League and are exciting to watch to some extent.

 

When you consider that Swindon conceded 100 in one season, it doesn't sound so bad!

 

That, and the fact that we have had some rubbish defences down the years.

 

That as well. But it does imply that we score as many (or close to as many) as we concede. The overall GD is +20 or so. Would rather be Spurs than Everton / Villa.
But yeh, Spurs have had some atrocious defenders over the years.

 

Careful - there are some on here who wont hear a word against the Ginger Pele! He was pretty poor though. Luckily we often put him up front where he couldn't cause any problems (for anyone)
