These international managers seriously don't have any sense do they? Wilshere's just back from injury, and he's just started playing, so what does this idiot Hodgson decide to do, yes, include him in a useless friendly, and just to make it better, this comes right before our big game against Spurs.

Useless international friendlies should fully scrapped.

It is typical of our luck that he will suffer an injury. With the 'enforced' rest he has this weekend in missing the Fulham match, Wilshire would have benefitted, as indeed he said in a couple of interviews. I dont envy the England managers job at all but when Wenger publicy asks him not to select Wilshire, it is difficult to have sympathy. Wenger should do what Fergie always does in these situations and discover that Wilshire has picked up a niggling injury. Wenger is too honest at times.

Agree with this. I think a game for England will do him good after being 'rested' for Fulham

I'd rather he had a week off than had to undergo the England training regime.

He is obviously not 100% match fit and and as you say he misses the Fulham game so playing for England will be another 90mins under his belt

Seeing as he is suspended for the game against Fulham, I do not see the harm in him getting a run out for England after having eight days to rest.

Looks like Jenkinson is going to be in the squad as well.

    Not sure about that one...

When you think about some of the duds that have picked up England caps over the last few years, I think it's safe to say Jenkinson deserves one for the performances he has put in this season.

I think Jenkinson is a classic English RB. Solid, uncomplicated and direct in his play. He has earned his call up and I think he'll thrive in the squad <ok>

Wenger said they have reached 'a good compromise' with Roy. Most probably Jack will play 45 min.

I don't understand why he has to be put in the squad, he was good enough before he got injured and he has shown since he's been back that he is a top top player who is the future of england, and if the england coaching team really want to have a look at him then go and watch an arsenal game, especially as its the winter break games are coming thick and fast, if he gets injured then there will be an uproar.

Wilshere is so much better at interviews than he was before his injury
