'kin Internationals! Bah to them I say, were it not for these games I reckon Arsenal would be ruling the world by now.

For those of you who missed it Wilshere is out for 6 weeks. It being Arsenal, read that as 3 months minimum.

Guess it's Arteta and Flamini together for the rest of the season... :(

    Our very own viking.

In all seriousness it was a 50/50 challenge, Agger looks straight at the ball and gets it first, Wilshere at speed tries to run into the ball but backs out last minute. He flies over Agger and catches the top of his boots. Hairline fracture probably made way worse by Jack's insistence on continuing. Bad luck. Its a tackle most would applaud if done for the club side and there was no malicious intent either.

Good news for you guys. Wilshire has been out of form and past performances from a year ago are still on your minds. He has long been the architect of your recent form and its no coincidence you guys havent been playing as well.

Think hes gotten to big for his boots and believing his own hype. He is looking lightweight, jogs back, holds the ball too long and tries to do to much. Watch your form improve without him now that Wenger cannot select him anymore

nope. I'm serious. Wenger insists on playing wilshire in the cm/dm position. that doesnt work period. He doesn't work with Arteta, could maybe get away Flamini. Wilshire also doesn't work on the wing. He could maybe get away with it in AM but lets be honest, ozil is far better even if he is getting hammered in the press.

  10. It was a 50:50 challenge where both player completely missed the ball and kicked each other. Nothing out of order from either player but one injury prone player is more fortunate than the other injury prone player in this instance. A player shouldn't be blamed just because the opponent picked up a injury, these things happen.

All the best to Wilshire, hope he makes a speedy recover and will be back in time for the World Cup. Nobody should have to miss out on their boyhood dream like that.

Not on a wind up pal. Never like to see players get injured no matter who they are or who they play for. If Liverpool can't win the league then I'd prefer it to be Arsenal, obviously I'd prefer us to finish above you more though :p

Bah, of course that's what you're all doing.

I don't recall blaming Agger so not sure why people are defending him before any guilt is attributed to anyone. Neither did I feel the need to go on another teams forum to criticize one of their players. But hey, you guys get your kicks (no pun intended) as and where you like.

there will probably be a 3 match ban for the Danish player when Wenger goes crying to the FA. Wiltshire has been **** this season and he was the worst player on the pitch for England. Barkley all the way now.

Good, a much needed and possibly deserved 3 points for Stoke. Glad we can discuss these things on the Wilshere thread

People tend to blame players for that sort of thing, fairly or unfairly. People also like to defend their own players. I've seen people on the internet calling for Agger to be banned for that. We're being preemptively cautious :p

I also have defended Wilshere on here before so I am not criticising him at all - except for carrying on. Which I understand in a strange way.

Wasn't aimed specifically at you. Was a generic reply for the comments from the three scousers.

The Stoke fan I ignore on principle on account of him being a bellend.

Ramsey was greatly missed due to his fantastic early season form.
The injury to Wilshere is unfortunate but his form has been very average.
