Arsenal.com says it's been successful and he should be back for next season. Seems very strange he's waited til now to have it done - perhaps it was deliberate so he couldn't play in the Olympics? What do you hope for him next year? We've seen how Ramsey has been affected by his injury and all the playing time he missed, Frimpong has been set back AGAIN with another long-term injury, Diaby is never fit. What are you expectations for Wilshere next season?
It's more hope than expectation at the moment. I don't think we should expect him to be back to his best straight away. He's missed a whole season.
I think we might come unstuck if we rely on the same MF and bank on Wilshere giving us the extra edge next season. If he doesn't come back strong, how long will it be before some fans start getting on his back ? Personally I think we still need an extra creative MF player as well as a fit Wilshere.
Dont hate him at all - he's just not good enough. He showed potential before his injury, but he was not the finished article.
I didn't say he was, i just said he was far better than he is now, and far better than Wilshere. Wilshere will probably suffer a similar fate now, he's been out for a whole season, he's going to take months to get back up to speed.
When he was injured yes? But when Jack was injured he was FAR better than Rambo. I'm a Ramsey fan but I don't see wha you are tyring to do here?
You;re reading it wrong. I meant that when Rambo got injured, he was ahead of Jack. Obviously he's going to be ahead of an injured jack.
Fit Player>Injured Player, but Jack still has a preseason to get fit, plus Jack seems like the type of guy to recover fatser than other players Also factor in the fact Rambo Pre-Injury>Current Rambo Jack Pre-Injury> Current Jack Jack Pre-Injury>Rambo Pre-Injury, so it can be implied that Current Jack(Post Pre-Season)>Current Rambo though of course we want both to exceed the levels they were Pre-Injury
Wilshere is younger than Ramsey - once he developed he reached a level Ramsey NEVER reached at any stage. Two footballers on totally different levels.
You're making Wilshere sound world class, something he isn't. He's a damn good footballer, but not yet world class.
I would say he was world class. Certainly one of the first 3 or 4 players who would be on the team sheet for England when fit.
