I'd love us to keep him, think he would do well in the Championship.

Agree DJ. Unless this very low £800k release figure quoted means his leaving is inevitable, I'd like to see him here next season.

His first touch skill levels at Prem striker level have been rightly questioned, but he's brave enough to cause Championship defences a lot of trouble. His pace and courage in the box will mean he'll get on the end of things at that level and could score well with the right service that's been denied him this season.

I suppose his thoughts will be on a couple of things. How often will he figure up front in the starting 11 with Guerra and (maybe) Grabban and Jones still at the club? He might just as well bench it in the Prem on better wages as do it in the Championship.

The other option is of course whether Ole again plays him wide rather that the main man up front. He could do a lot of damage from out there coming in from the left as well as his defensive assistance for John, but I believe FC himself doesn't favour that position.

I think he's well worth hanging on to - the only real question is does he want to be here?

BBC report we are holding talks and trying to persuade Faz to stay at Cardiff, whereas he has just tweeted good luck to his mate David Meyler and said he will be watching in Spain, obviously on hols. Paper talk again.

its a tricky one for him as everyone wants to play in the PL, but the point is will he play first team for a PL team? i very much doubt that, it depends what he wants, first team football here, or more wages and a squad role in the PL.

He's dropped down the league before so it isn't unreasonable to think he may stay. However, he was at Hull before and may want to return as he had a good spell there albeit in the championship. I think he can do the job in the premier league in the right formation that includes a strike partner.

With you Taff. I think he would do well at Hull with Bruce and a strike partner. I honestly would miss him, but I don't think we need him.
