Willo The Wish!

Just read a quote from former Bluebird little Willo Flood (another talent snubbed by the former gaffer) in a WOL article.The premise of the feature was Willo encouraging Goodwillie to choose Cardiff over all other interested parties.

The aforementioned quote spoke volumes even now for Welsh football.



“I would recommend Cardiff to Goody,” said Flood. “It’s a good club and he would enjoy living down there.

“They have great staff who would look after him.”

“They’ve got a new stadium and training ground. If they were to get promoted to the Premier League, football in Wales would hit the roof."

The problem is a few of our players enjoy living down here too much.

At least we left a lasting impression on Flood. Is he on commission?

 

Well Cardiff is a pretty good base for anyone to live, and we have moved on so much in recent years.
