I have tended to back Willie's novice hurdlers at Cheltz Fest and I've done rather well over the years.
You all know his horses and the wins at Cheltz Fest and was looking at what novice hurlers will go for what race this coming March.
I've got it down to these bad boys, feel free to discuss ..............

    Supreme - MOYLE PARK
Wants good ground and looked as tough as they come when grinding out his win at Punchestown last April. The race reminded me of Champagne Fever's Supreme win a month earlier.
Looks to have plenty of gears but the way he sticks his neck out makes him one for the fast paced Supreme.
Just had a few small nibbles at 20/1 last night.

    Neptune - BRIAR HILL
Won the Fest Bumper last March when charging up the hill to win in good style, no I still can't believe he went off at 25/1 with Ruby on board !!!!
He's bred to be a proper stayer (Boston Bob family) and has 3m point to point experience, but judging by the way he flew up the hill, he's got plenty of gears.
I can see him going upto 3m but having that previous Fest experience, I see him being Neptune bound.
Again I have a few small nibble (in doubles and trebles) at 12/1.

    Albert Bartlett - FAUGHEEN
Has a good ground, 3m point to point win under his belt before being purchased for a lot of money, he then ran away with a Bumper last season when heavily backed.
Apparently he needs good ground, Rich Ricci owned and highly regarded by connections, I can see him going for the Albert Bartlett.
I have backed him in a small double for the potato race but I can also see Briar Hill and Faugheen switching as both have speed but will stay, you know how much Willie keeps us all guessing !!!!

Any thoughts would be welcome and any other horses of Willie's would also be welcome

Wuby, he's just bought Thomas Hobson from Gosden, as a juvenile hurdler. He likes it soft as opposed to the above.

Both Moyle Park's victories came on soft ground so he certainly doesn't need a decent surface.

It's a question which will keep us guessing right up to the week of the festival, so I've linked this on the mega thread <ok>

    What about Union Dues?

I won't be backing any Mullins horse until I get the nod from Danbo,Willie's favourite conduit and confidant!

Faugheen entered over 2m on Sunday at Cork and 2m6f at Punchestown on the same day.

Trying to guess Mullins is harder than Henderson, and that is saying something! Would never back a Mullins novice ante post, you don't even know if they will travel at all.
