I will be like, the ****ing Judas kernt! Recon we should all make our own ticker tape out of photo copied £20`s and throw em onto the pitch Cant wait to see the reception he gets! Well, thats if he turns up and doesnt have a mysterious injury in the meantime! FTM
He Deserves all the stick he gets IMO. I have never felt as let down by a footballer than I did when he left
Why would we, all he did was **** off and leave us at a low time, rush to a Birmingham hotel to wait for the call, tell everyong how he was moving to better and kick us in the balls.
For a man that we took to our hearts so readily and lavished our affections on so much, I fear he will be the most detested man in Britain next weekend. His reception will be fearsome and even more full of hate than usually reserved for all things black and white. What a shame for all parties, as I think Bent could have made history in a Sunderland shirt and become a legend. Instead, he looks a shadow of his former self again at villa and his body language suggests he is back to his spurs days. The cocky confidence he seemed to have regained at our club, seems to be lacking imo and we must ensure he doesn't get it back next week. He found his club at Sunderland but threw it away either for more money or a quick bunk up with the bosses daughter. There is far more to his leaving than we currently know, of that Iam convinced but whatever the real reason, it won't stop 40,000 people making him as uncomfortable as he has ever felt in his entire life. Time is a great healer and this feeling won't last forever but next week, being Darren Bent will be a terrible thing to be indeed, especially in the very place he once was the king of. The SOL. It's a crying shame.
I agree he will be the most hated man ever to return to the SOL, the way he left was inexcusable. Then to say when he walked onto the training pitch and see the players there were a far better quality that we had stinks. Well his two wingers ****ed off and i hope his career goes down the pan. He left a club at the tim challenging for Europe to go to a team fighting relegation. well **** you Bent and a relegation would really make me laugh. Once things start going tits up the fans will soon turn on the manager I still say Cappello had something to do with telling him to leave Sunderland if he was to better his England career. I will be surprised if any Sunderlnad fan has any sympathy for him
I hope he makes some awfull misses as he i prone to as we know then we can just jeer at him and make him feel about 2 inches tall haha! Hell probably score though the ****in greedy twat! The only way ill want Catts playing so he can break Bents leg
I think the worse thungs is someone i work with is a massive sunderland fan and we listen to talksport (bare with me) After he left there was exclusive interview with the man before the exclusive commentry of villa vs everton (i think) and adrian durum and collymore were taking callers and my mate phoned in and he talked and they put him through to bent live on air and asked m mate what he wanted to ask darren the quesion asked was "I just want to know why did you leave" to which bent rambled on about how he had "good times" at sunderland but "aston villa is a step up in my carear" at the time villa were in the bottom 6 i think and sunderland were 7/8th??? It later came out cappelo told bent to move for england though and villa overed more money. So please boo him for me
Just imagine if we happen to win next week - Villa will return to their "false position," that Bent referred to.
Will be there but won't be booing as that only makes them work harder the sooner we as fans realise this the better. Plus he is bound to score against us it happens all the time and, it's bound to be a penalty. Boo him when he comes off or is subbed when he can't have any influence on the game, no matter how much he has let us down as fans and as a club.
A would willingly play catts next week just to snap the b*stards legs. And before the do gooders come on not wishing injury on anyone, just to make my stance on this abundantly clear I COULDN'T GIVE A F*CK.
Spurs fans used to boo him and he always raised his game against them. I'd rather everyone turned their back to him when he comes onto the pitch but that would be canny hard to orchestrate. I dont' normally bet on goalscorers but it's probably worth a few quid on the twat scoring as well!
No chance!! If we actually paid him what Bruce is on he would have stayed. £3 mil a year for a ****e fat geordie or a 24 goal a season striker.......not ****ing rocket science which i'd choose. At the end of the day he scored 24 goals for us and single handedly kept us in the league. He deserves gratitude for that.
