    I am assuming that we will make a couple of signings to strengthen the squad so I will say yes, but only just. I don't think Monk will survive the season though.

    Voted Yes but am ready for a scary season, I just think there are definitely 3 or 4 worse teams even at our present state which may get a lot better when it really counts.

    We will give Monk a chance to prove himself, he'll have up until Christmas in my view, and if it isn't good, then he'll be moved to assistant coach, and we will bring in someone experienced!.............<ok>

    This is my view, I have met Monk on charity events and i really like the guy but I would have loved him to be assistant for a few years and finish his badges etc before he got thrown in the deep end.
    Take for example Giggsy it is obvious they want him as a future manager so he covered when needed and now he is going to be assistant to a experienced manager. I watched most of the documentary on him and even with all his player experience it was clear how much a shock management was to him.

    I don't see how any experienced manager worth his salt would agree to having Monk as an assistant....or on the coaching staff....given his previous.
    It's sink or swim and he looks like he's going under too me.
