Oh dear the Beeb have now changed the transfer window as well as the match window look. Window closes at 2300 hrs tonight.....we know that Derek Adams is keen to get Boateng back.....Pardew seems to want him out there playing as well......he blossomed while with us....surely returning to where he fitted in and did well is a no brainer.....why is Alan Pardew dragging his feet over this ?......he surely isn't trying to get him to a Div 1 or even a Championship team is he ? If it ain't going to happen has Adams pencilled in a similar player. Goalkeeper cover is rather weak....but as notDistant has already said it is a specialized position and a keeper would be easier to bring in outside the window......probably Walton again ?
This may not help our cause.... http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/...ystal-Palace/story-28638011-detail/story.html
Surely beyond Boateng's learning curve at present....even to be considered for the bench would be a step too far.....Pardew wouldn't do that seeing Boateng has just recovered from injury would he ?
Boateng withdrawn from todays under 21 game against Charlton......suggesting that he could be going out on loan before the 2300hr deadline tonight.
Rumour starting the rounds that he is our's once more. Apparently Errington has tweeted or chirped or whatever it is they do now.
2230 hrs and no sign of Boateng coming back........not sure what that means.....if we get him next week when the other loan window opens,we can only have him for 93 days....which means he will not be here for the final run in.....and that is roughly the same as the Threlkeld deal......sounds a bit iffy personally if it is a tight run in for promotion..........no sign of any other loanees coming in either.
Apparently Adams is at an Awards dinner. Lets face it we ain't getting anyone are we even though we have a few pennies knocking about. Never mind we will owe less next season in this league so every cloud and all that.
Boateng coming next week....but only for three months......if that doesn't happen then I have no idea what's been going on......is Pardew concerned about his first team injuries and wants to hang on a little longer......did he withdraw Boateng from the under 21 team incase he needed him on the bench for the Tuesday game at home to Bournemouth. Derek Adams at the Plymouth Sports awards last night with a few other Argyle staff......so I assume nothing was planned in the transfer market yesterday at Home Park ?
If it's of any relevance, Boateng's own Twitter profile describes himself as being "on loan at Plymouth Argyle" but maybe he just hasn't got around to deleting the old entry. I have also learned that Craig Tanner got a remote controlled model Lamborghini for Christmas. Do you see what a treasure trove of vital information Twitter is?
I'm convinced notdistant, I'll tune in drekly. Disappointed is putting it mildly and that isn't a comment on me not getting a remote Lamborghini either.
A few reports of what Boateng's twitter account say about him being at Plymouth.....just out of date.....although he might of left it as it is because he still expects to come back
Derek Adams says "I think there is a good chance of him coming back before the end of the season" - from the official PAFC Twitter feed.
Well the "end of the season" could be anytime before we play Hartlepool on May 7th, not exactly an encouraging statement.
Looking at the Crystal Palace latest injury list and length of absence projections it isn't looking like we will be getting Mr Boeteng anytime soon does it. Damn.
Boateng got a lot of praise for his twenty minute substitution at Swansea at the weekend.....it is obvious he will not be returning .....not at least until Palace's injury list in mid-field dramatically improves....if at all.
We pick them don't we? Kellett gets a year at Man Utd in the Under 21's and Boateng makes his debut in the PL. Can't we recruit somebody who's no good like we used to?
We did he was called Kroll and then we sent him back. Think Walton wasn't a live one either. Have to admit the others have been pretty fair in their turn. Maybe the fault is we bring them on too well and their clubs then nick them back. Perhaps we should calm their progress down a bit.
Yet Croll had a first team squad number at Palace when he came to us......Boateng didn't have one till very recently.
Don't care which one had a number plym I know which one I would want back here. I thought Kroll was just about average at best.
