I don't think we need one. Ashley needs to let Pards have more of a say.
Maybe get another MD in though.

The club haven't made any further comment but some of the press have stated that at this point in time Ashley is not looking to make any appointment, how true this is we shall see, on the business side there is a club secretary and financial director, Pardew as manager and Carr with his scouting team on the football side, might be a good time for Ashley to leave well alone and near the end of the season sit down with Pardew and Carr discuss targets and budgets and just let them get on with it.

I for one can't wait to see our team start playing the Megson way.

 

Ashley won't invest - what's the point? There's no transfers...sorry, loans to be done until June. Why bother preparing for it, when you can hire in June, then have a bunch of ready-made excuses when we do a West Ham and re-sign Shola.

Does anyone know how similar sized teams are set-up? Everton, Spurs, Southampton, what does their backroom look like?
