Will we be waving bye-bye to Wigan tonight

Arsenal v. Wigan - KO 19:45

This should be a cracking game with both teams needing to win for very different reasons. Results didn't really go Wigan's way on Sunday so they must win both their final games to stay up. Arsenal have to win to leap-frog over Tottenham and get back in the Champions League places.

Wigan won 1-2 at Arsenal last season on their miraculous run-in to avoid relegation, so they know they can do it.

How about a finish whereby Arsenal get a penalty in extra-time, miss it and Wigan go straight up the other end and score to win 1-0 a la Watford/Leicester or Brentford/Doncaster?

Looking forward to this one.

 

I think Arsenal will be a step to far for Wigan who still giddy from the FA Cup win.

 

I wouldn't right Wigan off tonight! They're a tricky team when up against it, and Ramsey and co, are not exactly consistent this season, and Arsenal's back line is certainly not bullet proof, I'm going for a Wigan Win, though it will be a real challenge for Martinez....................







PS: Put a £10 on at the bookies, to get a £75 return for Wigan to win...........

Although I would like Wigan to win, because it takes it to the last game of the season and i would like to see Arsenal out of the CL.

I think they will go down tonight, one game too far for them me thinks.

 

got to be honest and say the minute we beat them at their place was the time they were relegated, I know its still mathematically possible for them to stay up but the odds are very much against them..... Will Martinez go? Im not sure but he is a dam good manager who has done well for wigan with limited resources.....yes they will probably be relegated tonight....

Wigan have been great the last 10mins. Wenger will go nuts mind for the free kick very soft one for Mike Dean to give.

 

Wigan are having a go but I think the more they open up the easier it will be for Arsenal. 1- 1 now though and a cracking free kick from Maloney.

Hopefully Bobby Brown shoes says good by to prem football this season, we will then see just where his heart truly lies. He should stay and try and take them up (if relegated) again but I think he will go if they down. Intresting stuff, could Martinez get a promotion from the ccc or will they stay in the prem anyway ?
