If it wasn’t happening then there would have been an announcement to that effect by now, Logically I would anticipate that Mandy is waiting to see that we won’t be relegated before she commits as Cashley won’t agree a relegation clause in the deal. Once we are safe from relegation then we can all party like it’s 1974 as I guess all parties will then do the deal.
Certainly looks a possibility. Might even be that this "clause" is simply "we've agreed to pay you £300m once the club is safe". So in theory an agreement has been reached, but we just need safety to make it happen. Only thing that makes this slightly odd is why Mike wouldn't then ensure deals are getting done. If we're left with this squad for the run in.....
For me it’s because the deal has not yet been finalized and Mandy is literally waiting to see if we avoid relegation before completing a deal. And Cashley, as usual, figures we will scrape through and, therefore, doesn’t want to spend any money and is prepared to take that chance.
I believe that even if we get safe Ashley would still push for more money. The scenario is that we are safe from relegation and he decides he wants an extra 50 million. Staveley says no and th deal drops. If the deal was going to happen it would have by now.

I'm not sure this can be true. If it was a matter of the deal being done but only at the end of the season if we stay up then Mike just spend all the TV money in January on transfers in an attempt to keep us up. He's not putting any of his own money into it so he wouldn't care.
See, this is what I don't get. Why is NOTHING being spent? The club has around £30-40m available - but they're not allowed to touch it, it would seem. That has got fck all to do with fatty, and Charnley - incompetent bellend or not - is apparently being told by Barnes that he can't do anything with it either. So the only reasonable guess left is that the club HAS been sold already and everything else is paperwork.
We're not thinking enough like Sports Direct. MA is purposely sending us down so Amanda gets a 40% discount on the club, but into the bargain she ends up buying loads of socks and a lacrosse stick she'll never use, and a crap rucksack with one strap, and a huge ****ing mug, so in some way Ashley makes more money??
