So we've all seen the news, and it's being discussed across a few threads; there's a lot of uncertainty about - change might well be about to hit the club. Vote for what you think will happen though, rather than what you want to happen.
Its not Allams anymore is it. Its Ehab. He'll stay and i think he might sack Brucey. Worst decision ever if he does.
If it is all Ehab now, I'd imagine Bruce will be delighted to be paid off - it'd save him resigning. I have never got the impression there is much love lost between Bruce and Allam Jr. If Assem isn't stepping back up to the reigns, I think it's a certainty Bruce will be gone.
I think Ehab won't sell now, will get the money in from the EPL, take the money out he has loaned the club then **** off, leaving the club in financial straights, just to get his own back on us all. P.S. If Ehab keeps the club, Bruce will go.
New owners with Bruce as the manager. If they are Americans I think that by the time they take over it will be to late to get a new manager in before the start of the season. Owners in the US rarely if ever fire a manger during a season. It happens, but it is extremely rare so I think that if we do get them, they will keep Bruce on for another season.
Thank God we got promoted then, if not we may have seen a repeat of when Harold Needler relinquished control to his son and the cheque book was firmly closed.
Personally think Ehab likes the kudos of being owner of a Football Club, and provided he gives the necessary assurances of a transfer kitty to Brucie, nothing will change.
Who runs Marine when Assem isn't around? If it's Ehab then City might be low on his list of priorities.
I would agree John, I have been thinking along these lines for a while now. I don't know how or when the payments are made, but if he gets say £100m straight away, then he can get his money back and £20m profit and **** off and leave us in the ****. I know there are future payments but I don't know how that is payed out. Again, I don't know if it is possible for him to do that, EPL rules and all that.
I`m fairly certain from our previous experiences in the Premier League that the seasons payments are staggered, what the ratio is for this I don`t know, but they certainly don`t get the £100m up front.
