Following yet another televised humiliation I'm beginning to wonder if our club will ever learn from these constant drubbings we are taking. Last night we saw a Brentford team assembled a no great cost absolutely play us off the park.

Their compact shape and slick passing game ran rings around us and in Josh McEachran had a playmaker who, after many years of being Chelsea's supposed next big thing, showed why he was so highly rated. Their passing and movement was light years ahead of anything we've seen from the R's for years and shows just what good coaching and preparation can do.

We were probably so poor we'd have made any team look like world-beaters but it is so long since we have seen anything that has the wow-factor, probably Jim Magilton's purple patch was the last time I thought we'd cracked it.

Many of Brentford's players were scouted from lower league teams such as Walsall so clearly we are still failing to spot genuine talent but, much worse, we don't improve our players, that was abundantly clear last night. How much longer will JFH have to get it right? Don't hold your breath, I just don't see it happening. We will struggle to stay clear of relegation if we don't improve. Many in our squad would struggle in League One and that's where we may end up if our confidence is shot by performances like last night's...

Well, after getting trounced by Newcastle the way we did at home, this was no surprise to see us play like this, even with a couple of new recruits.
We have no shape and no game plan, and JFH doesn't really know how to change up a better defensive posture once we start to show some cracks. By shifting some players around he thinks he's actually doing something but playing those guys out of position and doing unfamiliar jobs, it's only going to hurt us.
I don't care if we look drab for the rest of the year, we have got to stuff the back and not let any more goals in. If we have to play every match to a draw, well, at least they're all points, and better than losing.
If JFH can't stop this sieve-like performance from happening in the next 4 to 5 matches, well that takes us to Christmas - he has to go. I want him gone now before he drags us down any further, but alas, they're all chummy aren't they, them 3 (TF, SLF & JFH), so what are we to do.

I think the big issue we have is that TF may also see the SLF may need to go as well so he won't want to pull the trigger on JFH until he's really going down the drain.
Don't think it will happen overnight.
