It's that time of year again, traditionally our cousins up east fall apart in the second half of the season, you don't really need to look at a calendar to know that the new year is with us, just look at the league table Anyway do we hope they go up or not ?
No need to wish any ill feeling towards Cardiff. The vast majority of their supporters are decent enough every club has its idiots. Good luck to them it would be nice to show the Premier league what a real derby is like
and that would be bubble games and all the negative publicity it would bring with it. I'd like to think that some of our own lot have grown up but I doubt it.Any way rubber doesn't approve of the PL so I suppose he'll be hoping they stay down
for myself on a selfish level yes i`d want em in a division that i can afford and where i can relate 2players being not on repulsive wages .....but on the other hand im not selfish enough 2 not want prem football and all the crap that goes with it for the many bluebirds being born in the valleys every year tell me bony how repulsive do you think the wages are in prem football compared 2 your general working man who fill grounds with hard earned cash week in week out>>>>>>>football has no morals in top flights i can tell you>>>>>ask mickey loudrop and the suitcase crimes what can go on behind the scenes its a joke......its full of leeches sucking the beautiful game dry dude. but he ho im oldskool, you came along in the last 5yrs no doubt
If you want a debate then give up the mis spelling ,and when i started watching the Swans really has no bearing .(1974 just to for the record)
Don't really care. If they do come up they'd have to spend a fortune to try and stay up, but will probably struggle anyway a la QPR
No, they are up this season imo. The law of averages tells us that and cardiff are a team this year rather than a load of over paid arseholes. Good luck to them, lets hope they follow in the path of QPR and struggle from day 1. The important thing is that we got there first and have done it the right way, we killed the Bluebirds last year, they are now Dragons and play in red, selling out 100yrs of history, i dont see them as rivals anymore as they sold out to acheive what we did following a budget and good buisness sense. It will at least circle the Jack wagons and direct abuse and banter away from each other and onto our neigbours, they will return here in vast numbers and crawl out of the holes they been hiding in this last year, it will make life intresting . They are going up and we must now get used to the fact that the prem grounds will be closing the Bars again when they roll into town and that will mean we get tarred with the same brush, it was nice to fly the flag for Wales and earn respect but that will unfold and vile banter and trouble will return with their prem entrance
I've never gone down the "it will be good for Welsh football if Cardiff get to The Premier League",road. On the contrary,I think it will be bad - for Wales, and the image of Wales. An image that has been enhanced these last few years with the advance of Swansea City F.C. whose fans are much admired up and down the land. The Swans' are now quite rightly seen as The Premier Club in Wales, whereas Cardiff City are still seen as a team followed by a bunch of thugs. A regrettable label for those Cardiff fans' who behave themselves, but, that's the reality. So,I say let Cardiff stay where they are. We don't need the hassle that they will bring in their wake should they make it out of The Championship. However,The OP question is "will they bottle it?" I have to say,no,I don't think that they will bottle it.
They will be an embarrassment to Wales, if they do make it, but as always they peak to soon, and then implode, so nothing to worry about, they won't make it in my view, just watch them slide from the top position, they will be lucky to make the play-offs, and in recognition of their past achievements, lets put up an appropriate poster!................ please log in to view this image
My Best friend who was and has been a season ticket holder with cardiff for years has been a Honorary jack since the bluebirds died and will never set foot into Malaysia land to watch a foreign team play in place of his beloved bluebirds, He does not recognize them or care about them one iota and there are many like him of his age that feel let down by cardiff....By the way he is enjoying watching premiership football at the liberty (when he can get a ticket) I help him all i can to get one but sometimes its not possible but he has stated to me that he is seriously thinking of buying a season ticket to go with his swans top he has already for next season....Does he want the red birds to go up...he replied WHO?
seem like a true cardiff fan dai >>>>>im glad u have the privilage of using up jack supporters tickets on a so called former cardiff fan......im sure genuine jacks enjoy missing out on tickets for glory hunters anyway i dont believe your radio and this sadly sounds like another tall story.
philip didnt you know we aint doing the playoffs this year our owners who dont care for the club invested enough 2 get a squad, who seem very usefull indeed i must say...and the placing in the league suggests that business is going in the right direction>>>>......could we do any better at the moment?.. ofcourse we could happy new year
