Will the swan be all at sea Or maybe at sixes and sevens, When he meets the brave canary Revelling in his seventh heaven This really could be one of those Encounters, in most people´s eyes, Where it could end any way, I suppose And none would be any surprise The old bird though does take a while As we saw at our Carrow nest, To get airborne and find the style When flying at its elegant best So perhaps, just as we did at home We should come flying out of the traps, With an early strike, to set the tone Then look to keep them under wraps But whatever plan he adopts Our Lord High Canary, I´m sure, Will be pulling out all the stops To ensure that we don´t wave adieu.. ..to Wales and the Liberty ground As we did last year with defeat, When yellows en masse went and frowned As their journey home wasn´t sweet So I think I´ll sit on the fence When both birds go neck to neck, And may just bet my worldly pence On a draw, so we both get a peck. Hi RBF, as you so rightly say, this one is impossible to call! Let's hope the Canary can fly under the Swan's radar and nick all 3 points!
All I'll say with worldly wisdom is that if neither side wins, I think it will be a draw. God, the ancient Greeks could have larnt somefink off me. <skolurly emoticon>
