Almost down to the wire in many instances and I wonder if any of you think we will spend money on shoring up a fast sinking ship? I know the loan window is close at hand but surely that is not the way to go because I have always felt that is just a way of getting a wage packet until the end of the season for most players.

Anyone at the top of the grapevine out there?

We also have Wade on board
Bringing in lots of players could actually be counter productive

I doubt very much we could find any players who would sign for us now. The only ones would be players stepping up as anyone else would look at the table and not fancy div 4. I think it will be only loans till season end or players on short contracts.

Will expect to see a new striker tomorrow might even be another CM. Think we will be signing someone though

CM is fair enough but will we really sign another striker ? We already have Tyrone Barnett warming the bench

CM is still a need area, what is the latest on Kelly? Wont be quite so much of a priority if he is not too far away

He's a good month away I heard recently. But I doubt he will get fully match fit until a month after so probably won't see a great deal of him this season. Hope I'm wrong though<ok>

Not good news on Kelly then ROD? Always felt he added another dimension to the squad that has gone totally absent since his injury and the last thing we need is to bring him back before his time.

Even if he's match fit, Kelly won't be mentally ready until the very end of this season, but more likely the next

I say this every year, but Freddy Adu is available and now he's in England.

He's very much a JET type of player, but he'll be free, his wages will be ridiculously cheap, and he'd probably be good for merchandising since he's still got a ton of followers.

He can play up front and in midfield, so he'd fit in perfectly with us. He's also in desperate need of game time and to stay at one club. His weakness is that he's been at ten different clubs and six countries in ten years. League 1 is probably his level, and there's the outside chance that if he does get consistent game time he could actually show some of the hype he's shown for his national team and in select matches.

He's training at Blackpool, so I reckon a quick call to him and he'll jump at the chance to play for us.
