I've stolen this story from AAMB so thanks to Daniel M. http://coachdaveblog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/farewell-peter-odemwingie.html A great read posted by a WBA fan and blogger.
Looks like MM has done his homework and found a decent bloke that fits with his values and can play the game. look forward to him getting fit and getting some game time. He could be an important cog in the wheel. Having had the most brits in the squad at the start of the campaign, how many nations are represented now? We've got most of South America covered (hope there are no feuds) and have now started on Africa.
How many other proven PL 1 in 3 ratio stikers do you get for £2.25m? I honestly don't care about the QPR thing as it's pointless without knowing both sides of a story you're never going to get. I can't wait to see him playing for us. I think he could turn into an absolute bargain and even if it was only for a season it'll be worth it.
isawronny i think if we are all being honest we were probably all at least little concerned by what happened at qpr but having seen him and read the inetrview on the city website and having seen his twitter page i thought that maybe he's a guy that wants to prove some people wrong and just wants a genuine 2nd chance. Then i read the above. what a TOP BLOKE i'm even happier now and seems to have a great attitude. lets hope he can do the business. welcome peter up the bluebirds!!!!
Some baggies were a bit in the dark as well it seems. http://www.new-606.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=24192
Before reading this, I thought he was our best signing this window. That story confirms it for me. I feel he will be the guy who makes the difference at key points this season.
Fair play to the lad he posted this on twitter. Peter Odemwingie ‏@OdemwingieP Everton new boy Gareth Barry feared he would end up as this transfer window's Peter Odemwingie http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...boy-gareth-barry-2248399#.UieuBVi0Zoc.twitter … Able to have a laugh about himself.
