In all fairness, it's a bit stupid to make a thread about a player who hasn't hardly featured not scoring yet. If he'd have started every game, then fair enough, but he hasn't been able to get into the side.
But the fact that he was a staggering £2.6m, and can't even get in the team, makes him an even worse flop than if he was playing but not scoring. Serious question - is £2.6m the most you have paid for anyone current at your club? I maybe wrong, but I don't think we paid that for any of our current squad, which would make him the most expensive player at either club.
No, unfortunately, the late Jimmy Bullard was £5million and players such as Zayatte and maybe Gardner were £2.5million, Lamby would know, my memories ****e But the thing is, we wasn't scoring at all last year, and Bruce signed Proschwitz as the cure, but pre-Season, Simpson came back into the limelight and has fit into the system like a jig saw piece so unfortunately for Ze German, he has to settle for the bench until Simpson falls out of form or we need to play two strikers up top. Proschwitz just needs a penalty to steady himself and to get the confidence up- as we all know Germans never miss from the penalty spot. Then, fingers crossed, he'll be goose stepping his way through oppositions defences and battering them like Tiger Tank, rather than falling down and crash like the regime his grandad may have got involved with.
