Sorry to have to ask this but, looking out of my office window and all I can see is snow on the grass and trees - don't know what it's like in Sunderland or the surrounding areas so if anyone has any info then this would be gratefully received
According to BBC football website the pitch has been covered overnight and the match is not in doubt.
I've just txt my pal who has a corporate package at the club to ask him if they have said anything and he says they have advised only to travel well in time and take it easy. Match is definitely on. No inspections planned as not deemed necessary as the pitch is perfect.
Cheers all - looking forward to the match tonight - not sure what crowd will be there but just seen on another thread that Catts is back in the squad - massive boost for us that.
Got my ticket about 2pm today and the roads surrounding the stadium are clear and no one mentioned the game been in doubt so it should be on, and there is grit every where for supporters.
Just dropped my mate off down Roker and the roads are ok, not perfect, but absolutely no risk. As long as the approaches to the stadium have been gritted, then all will be well!
