He cant afford not to. Had he converted debt to shares he would already had left....as it stands who knows what the rumoured £130 mill debt is tied to. Thete could be some other things in Malaysia relying on a succesful Prem/Tan portfolio. Strangely, this puts our neighbours possibly in a better bargaining position than ever. Its just a shame they cant buy him out
nah, he'll stay, but his ultimatum of lick my arse or i'm off won't work now that we're down, and in roughly the same position he arrived here in but we now have a beer mat badge, red shirt and have turned into a joke club thanks to his antics. in short, give the manager the money to do his job, stop acting like a ****, or carry on doing so and we'll continue treating you like the **** you are………
All bragging aside, thats the spirit Swamp....FIGHT THE POWER FAN POWER It maybe painful to start, , but you will have our support to regain your heritage. Shame your big year was sullied by a divisive owner and you still havent seen the Bluebirds in the Prem
I am sure the £130m debt is more than the value of the club, it is bad business to buy shares in that situation. I expect him to start selling assets to try and get his cash back.
Next year could be the most important in most Cardiff's fans history. As long as we manage to stay up, would love to see you wrestle your heritage back without plastic fantastics and have another go. If you guys do not unify though, I fear for you.
The parachute payments are Tan proof. If he does a fire sale, it will possibly help jettisone some Primadonnas. It all depends how shrewd they were with their contracts.....hope those relegation clauses were water tight or they may just stick around.
They don't cover the wages, Cardiff must sell players at the very least. And there is the crux... the team are championship quality at best right now but they could lose the best players they have to try and stabilise the bank balance. That puts promotion in jeopardy next season for them and the longer they are away from top flight football the more precarious it will be.
Trouble is there aren't enough who want to stand up to him and most are only to ready to lick his backside. One poster said the anti-Tan sentiment here was "a disgrace". For ****'s sake. Trouble is I suppose when you get into bed with the devil he own's your ass.
Don't be daft - think of all the flats you could build on the stadium site! And you could relocate to the Millennium Stadium
You're making up your own stories again pal, and I'm getting pissed off at you having a go. It was me that actually said laying every problem that arises at the club at Tan's door was a disgrace, nothing at all to do with anti-Tan sentiments which are rightly rife on here and at the ground. The actual phrase I used in that post was "this anti-Tan bandwagon jumping is a bloody disgrace". You are twisting things I say - try to avoid it if you can and I will accept your apology for getting it wrong.
Tan has got to stay just for the comedy value he gives the rest of the clubs. Its the championships turn now to have fun...enjoy..
