I have absolutely NO doubt with the statement form LFC tonight that this is going through the law courts, no question This is a long, long, long way away from being over Will he actually serve ANY ban.I suspect he still might not
He should serve the eight matches, then be found innocent, Evra should be banned for the rest of the season, Suarez and Liverpool should receive compensation, meanwhile we should win all of the eight matches Suarez misses by 2 goals or more (With Carroll netting in at least 10 overall)
Where this goes is anyones guess. Court, European Court, all sorts. Very very messy, FA have kicked the wasps nest.
Or....as is much more likely, liverpool and suarez' reputation will be ruined forever if they dont let this drop.
How does it show Evra to me more of a **** ?? Does he not have the right to be offended ? I, like most Liverpool fans, would like to see the evidence. There is surely more than just the 'negrito' otherwise 8 matches is harsh.
This is just the start of a very messy process to come..Without a shred of evidence, other than some frog eating parasite. A man has been found guilty. How in the biggest game in English football, covered by countless camera's, watched by 100's of millions, has not one person other than Patrica Evra heard Suarez make a racist comment? Not one drop of evidence was found to support the claims, not one single player in a packed goal mouth heard a thing. If the evidence was there to support the allegations, then fine throw the book at him. But other than some over sensitive french dickhead, not one person heard the alleged comments, not one camera caught anything on tape. And they wonder why, the FA are a joke.
The problem is we just don't know if there's more yet. You have to recognise that there are several agendas - Liverpool's, Evra's and also that of the FA.
To be fair we haven't heard the evidence yet and unfortunatley I doubt we will. Didn't Suarez himself admit to calling him Negrito ? If he did then it probably his own statement that has landed him in the ****. I doubt the FA would give such a serve punishment just based on Evras word as they will have known what comeback to expect from Liverpool. I think there is more to this case than we have currently seen.
This. Everyone needs to take a chill pill and stop speculating and posturing over this initial news. There may well be evidence to condemn Suarez - if so then he deserves the ban. However there may not be, and if this is the case this could rumble on for months. I for one don't know all the facts - let's wait and see.
Yeah, why should LFC let it drop? They wouldn't come out with a statement like that for nothing. Whatever way you look at it we're about to lose our best player for eight matches and probably blown our chances of top four. Are we supposed to lie down and accept it? I think not! Because I can more or less surmise what happened that kicked all this off: Suarez was showing him up on the pitch, he didn't like it. There was an exchange of words in which they both said something, Evra thought who do you think you are calling me that, you don't know me. He had a moan about it, Ferguson made him complain, and now we've come to this. I bet Evra has been bricking it, not confident of a victory, but getting one. What happens now? Oh most noble and condescending of him to say Suarez isn't a racist. Yeah, you can be generous in victory. Problem is mud bloody sticks, doesn't it? And speaking of mud that's Evra's name now at Anfield (no racist pun intended)
I don't think it's a case of fighting it purely to keep our best player on the pitch. It's more of a case of defending his name and proving his innocence in the face of a serious allegation.
