As the title suggests do you think vermaelen and kos will be able to tame drogba. I'm not so sure either of them will be tbh though i have more faith in kos against him primarily due to the fact that vermaelen has the edge over kos in terms of physicality and nullifying aerial threat which unfortunately is drogba's forte so we'll have to rely on on the ground tackling, outpacing and out witting him which i feel kos is more well equipped for but i fear we won't be able to keep him at bay for an entire 90mins which makes me conclude we'll simply have to outscore chelsea if we are to have any chance of winning.

Drogba loves playing against Arsenal, just look at his goalscoring record. These days though the problem is that he only turns up for games now and then and a lot of the times he just strolls around looking disinterested.......but man when he does turn up,just ask the spuds !!

Why not use Song to double up on Drogba? Considering Drogba has such a good success rate against us and that Song is probably the most powerful player we have, why not tell Song to support Vermaelen and Djuourou? Well definately support Dj!

I can't seen this happening as Wenger will probably play the same formation and tactics against Chelsea....

Well Djourou is a liability but to be honest Koscielney has really struggled against Drogba in the past also.

Vermaelen and Mertesacker would have been our best option. Shame the big German is still injured.

I know big Mertz would have been invaluable. I still think we should use Song to support DJ. Those knockdowns he does cause us all sorts of problems...

best thing we can do is stop the supply which will stem from mata imo as they don't have much creative flair otherwise. Having said that they often go the long ball route against us though de matteo is a bit of an unknown quantity. Sturridge on the left wing will be another problem especially if santos plays there

B*gger that isn't it?! It's for these sort of games that Mertesacker was brought in. Argh, such a random injury and just typical of our fecking luck.

Personally I think Djourou will be ok. His actual physical attributes aren't the problem, it's his concentration. Hopefully he'll be getting a bit more comfortable now this is his third game in a row in his favoured position. I'd rather we give Chelsea something to worry about with our attacking as opposed to panicking about what they'll do to us.

the main thing is not to get to close to him like Gallas did and was repayed with a goal, and it depends which Drogba turns up,unfortunatly, we got the wrong one

Is he?! Ah, then he's going into my team in place of Djourou then! Sorry Johan, I don't dislike you, I just don't think you're as good.

Drogba is still dangerous and against us, he will cause more than a few problems. It would be foolish not to pick Drogba against Arsenal. We would be better playing against Torres as our defenders are better placed against skillfull, on the deck players.

If as Fabregas says Chelsea are back to long ball drudgery, Drogba will be the proverbial battering ram and .. it is inevitable that he will give our lightweight defence problems.

It is only now that I am beginning to take notice of Chelsea.

Good god heaven forbid. Our defence turns from good to clueless when the ball is looped forward, add Drogba to the mix and it becomes pandemonium! It's like our centre backs become like headless chickens during an earthquake measuring richter 10!

If you outscore them you will definitely win. Is there any other way of winning a game?
