I agree. I think he definitely inclines to the philosophy of sell when any offer more than a player's true worth comes in

It's not really 'Ashley selling'. If Jose leaves, it's because he wants to. Not because Ashley is forcing him out to make money or whatever.

But no, I won't read your blog.

  4. He shouldn't just sell players "because we recieved an offer that we couldn't turn down"

We can't just sell all our players. Tiote and Coloccini should not be sold.

Newcastle's recent signing Demba Ba has been linked with a move to Valencia. With the departures of Kevin Nolan and Alan Smith, Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley is keen to reduce the wage bill, even looking to make a sell-on profit if possible. Although signed just last Friday, Ba's rumored 40,000 a week wage could result in the player departing in a deal worth around £3,000,000 to the Spanish side.

I like how when a random source says Ashley might let a player go suddenly Pardew's his puppet, then every good signing that comes in just serves to prove how wonderful Carr is.

Ashley would sell his own Gran if an offer came in for her.

I'm expecting 3 first team regulars of last year at least to be sold.

Sorry I thought someone had actually tried to pass it off as journalism.

You could probably get a job at the Sun though <ok>

    I read about this somewhere...

The Daily Mail has reported that Newcastle United's Grandma Mildred- Grandmother of Newcastle owner Mike Ashley- could be on her way out of the club after recent contract negotiations broke down with her age expected to be the deciding factor. Newcastle had made an offer of 1 year, pay-as-you play extension to her current pension. However, Mildred was keen to seek a 2 year extension to her current deal. A source close to the club stated: After recent negotiations broke down with Grandma Mildred, she will now be looking for an alternative employer away from tyneside. However her recent hip operation which saw her sidelined for 8 months could put clubs off Newcasle's £4,000,000 asking price.

Nolan is the only player to be sold this transfer window and i'm not bothered he has left, he is 29 in July and he already had no pace and since Carroll left his form dropped. Anyone in there right mind would have sold Carroll, 35 million for a player who had only played half a season and was currently injured.

Some People seem to think he is only at this cub to make a profit and when that profit is made he will do one, but Mike is a business man, and i would like to think he knows selling our best players would stop the club from moving forward.

So to answer your question, no, i don't hink Mr Ashley will sell any player at this club.
