IMO no. Think they will need to add more cash for that deal to be a goer.

Don't think Di Maria would go to a non-CL team.

That said, it'd be a great deal for Spurs if they got those two and £50mil! Both are quality players.

  4. I hope he says no, but I suspect that it all comes down to whether or not Bale is willing to sign a new contract with us.

Seriously though, how would you feel if you were one of these Madrid players.
Cannot imagine di Maria is too happy.

Coentrao is a different story, as some ITKs are saying Spurs are in separate
negotiations for him irrespective of the Bale saga (Spurs has leverage on Madrid
due to the outstanding monies for Modric etc) .

Assou Ekotto seems out of favour and Rose isn't good enough IMO. Coentrao would be an excellent LB and Di Maria is a very good player. £51m no it's own is a great offer but Levy is mad not accept that deal. That's 4 top quality players that could come out of this deal.

Madness to accept this derisory (made up by the media) offer, why should we let one of the worlds best players leave and take on a couple of Madrid cast offs.

When any new manager comes in, you know you have to work twice as hard to prove yourself. Di Maria was hugely in favour with Mourinho, but the acquisition of Isco suggests his days were numbered anyway.

If they are offering, surely they would have checked that. You don't make an offer you can't transact?

"As if Real Madrid would actually make that offer.."

They would. But as if di Maria would actually agree to moving to Spurs.

Levy now totally owns Real Madrid.
Tis what happens when you have gobby plank-ton like Perez in charge of your club, who is
s-h-i-t scared of Neymar, covets a Spurs player but still owes money for the one he recently bought.

Cockerel barfly - your deluded mate, its a fantastic offer and Madrid wouldn't be stupid enough to actually offer this deal. It'd be a fantastic bit of business by spurs.

I am out of favour at CL Madrid, and now I am going to EL Spurs. Yeah, right.

<laugh> This is Real Madrid we're talking about not Pompey. The players they are offering are much better than the players you have that currently occupy those positions + they are offering huge cash that could finance Soldado and supplement the wages of all 3 players with cash in reserve.

From where I'm sat its a great deal. That said, if you lose Bale I don't think any player you could buy would fill that whole. He's a great player.

Soldado in on Spurs terms once Valencia realise there is no selling plan B.
Coentrao in as Madrid are Levy bitches.

    Not a bad summer IMHO.

If we opened a thread for every transfer rumour about Bale we'd be flooded. As it is we keep all rumours in the Summer Transfer Window thread.
