I thought for a bit of fun, we could have a poll on what we can expect from our favourite Dutch man. It's my first poll so feel free to correct any mistakes or other choices I have missed.

 

You need to add the words cock and womble into one of the options to make it valid.

 

Virgil will not give in, but he isn't the one with power. I think he will continue his strop and will be sold eventually but not until January at the earliest and not to Liverpool. By January, he will be desperate and will leave for another club.

 

Where is the "he will be sold this window" option?

Well, I have a fiver at 9/1 and a fiver at 10/1 to stay so on a personal level I want him to stay. You can still get 5/1.

I also have 50p on him at evens with TLL, which may be even sweeter to collect if he stays!

Got a feeling you'll be right. In doing so we won't get his full value, but we'll get a very decent return. It's a shame that he has fallen foul to the usual Liverpool tapping-up/media machine, that we know very well now. Something should be done about it, but with the Premier League administrators we have in place, at the moment, I think they'll walk away from this major discretion Scott Free.
