http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ver--I-want-knock-blasts-Ashley-Williams.html Or will the spineless FA be scared of someone setting up a breakaway black players union?
Even if the FA do f**k all (no pun intended), then does he think referees don't read newspapers? The first heavy foul on Suarez will be a yellow card and potentially red as he's already shown intent.
Typical of the Mail Certainly will after they've splashed it about in yet another irresponsible sensationalist headline. The headline suggests he intends violence towards Suarez, whereas his quote says that Suarez made him so angry that he wanted to ko him last time they played. I'm not excusing him of course, but the papers do love to stir the ****.
If I played against Suarez I'd want to knock him out I hate getting megged, usually leads to me sticking the perpetrator into the stands Suarez would drive me mental.
This is brillianr news for Sunday. Just the kind of inspiration Suarez thrives on....He is probably looking to make Williams look a complete fool on the weekend... And I have no doubt he will!
Happy days. Might change my goal scoring prediction now. Was going to gamble on a rare Gerrard goal, but Suarez is almost guaranteed a goal now!
Who the feck is Williams anyway, seems like he wanted his name in the paper, so guess what! Let's write I don't like Suarez,
what we need now is rodgers to take this trash and make sure every offical knows it, that its said everywhere he can before the game and frankly the more pressure he can apply via the hea dof the refs union etc to make sure the officals in charge at swansea are on the case the better. ought to ring up laudrup and his old chairman while he's at it and all... just to wind them up too
You do realise the head of the referees is Mike Riley, and that he's answerable to Ferguson only? The last time Brendan complained about the treatment of Suarez after he was karate chopped in his neck against Norwich, Riley let it be known that he'd charge RODGERS with disrepute for complaining.
This! I used to play as a centre back for a Sunday league team and I would instantly loathe any striker who dived, cheated or got the best of me. For all I know they were lovely people off the pitch but it's hard to see it that way when you're only experience is on the pitch. Maybe a little silly from Williams, but I imagine his view is shared by many. But that is why we love Luis Suarez, because everybody hates playing against him.
Hilarious. The quote is an extract from his book about last season. He says, Suarez was such a diving, cheating **** (poetic license) he made me want to punch him. "Want" being the important word...he didn't. He's a professional. The timing is probably about selling books. The idea that Rodgers is going to do anything to jeopardise his relationship with Ash, a player he wants to sign, is utter tripe. Rodgers probably agreed with Ash at the time and Suarez can probably work that out for himself. Doesn't matter as they are all professionals. Suarez would take it as a compliment that people don't like playing against him. What's funny is that so many of you lot get your knickers in a twist about it, melodramatic much?
But I'm saying that we love him because everybody hates playing against him. I'm not saying we love him because everyone hates him for the over-the-top sensationalist media smear campaign against him. We love him because he's a great player who gives 100% every match and hassle defenders for the ball right up until the 90th minute. And that is why I am saying players hate playing against him. Now that I've dumbed it down do you understand my point? Jesus...
