Looking at the fixtures, December is a tough tough month for us on paper. We have home games with Middlesbrough and Forest and away trips to Derby, Coventry and Southampton. Realistically how many points do you reckon we can get from these 5 games...? I reckon we'll need to beat Boro, get a point against Forest and Derby and win at Coventry giving a return of 8 points which would be ok. Many less points than that would see us really struggling if the teams around us pick up decent results.
Angelic...you mustnt take in to consideration what the teams around us do! well thats what was posted a while ago..... HOWEVER, you are right, a tough old month...make it 9 games starting with SOTON.......... There is a strong possibility that we can beat SOTON on our own patch, they are completely unbeaten at home but away are vulnerable. I cant say the comment I applied to Brighton visiting us at home will apply here ,they will be up there for sometime, win the NPC? MAYBE..TOP 6 MOST LIKELY. The 8 games after, all teams have their achilles heel just study the results they have in locker already and you will see it is entirely possible that out of the next 27 points we could concievably get 17pts.........(14pts min req )........BUT A 10 GAME RUN STARTING WITH THE GAME PLAYED AGAINST MILLWALL has us playing 6 away and 4 home with Millwall and SOTON FEATURING HOME AND AWAY...WHEN THE GOING GETS....YOU KNOW THE REST!
This is a totally different Bristol City to the one of September. Right now I would imagine we are the team to be feared in the CCC. Having said that, any game against Southmptn, home or away, is going to be a real test
