The poll is an interesting sideshow. More importantly, I was wondering what questions people are minded to ask on tomorrow night's phone-in, and whether people think the overall tone will be constructive? I'm firmly entrenched in the Anyone But Bassini camp, but even so I'm worried whether a completely open radio phone-in is such a good idea. As much as he might deserve a hostile reception, if true to form he throws his toys out of the pram this could be the one and only opportunity we get to ask him questions. That might end up being the case even if we're perfectly civil, but I hope that we try not to give him that excuse on public radio.
I think he will show, he may not be the brightest person when it comes to PR, but he knows he has to win us back over after the previous farce. Lets hope they screen some of the questions or it could turn into a lynching, not the productive Q+A it could be.
He was pottering around the pitch Saturday, so cannot throw the sicknote excuse again. I think he will turn up, but just how much we will learn might be totally different. As I understand it, it will be sandwiched in with the 3CR Tuesday sports show, so if the questioning gets too much for him, a wave of the hand that we will not see, and we will get swapped for the latest news from up the M1. In the build up Saturday, which was extensive, they were talking about him taking questions by phone, e-mail, text, semaphore flags and anything else that you care to mention. So far I have not seen anything to say if they want questions in advance of the show or if they will only be accepted while it is on. Just how much it can be stage managed remains to be seen.
I tend to listen to at least part of 505 after Saturday away games, whether I've gone to the match or not. It's fair to say that they're usually simply happy that multiple people have bothered to phone up.
Does he actually have to 'turn up' at all - can't he just ring up like everyone else has to? In which case, he can simply hang up when he feels threatened/uncomfortable and then blame BT for a fault in his line.
He can't do another no-show so he will be there. The worry is if people berate him too much, he will just get up and leave. Ask probing questions, but as long as they are not too hostile, and I'll think he'll answer most! I guess most will be why Watford, where has the money come from, and then time frames for everything he has said he will do. I expect answers for the first, not the 2nd, and a vague answer for the 3rd!
Good luck at trying to get proper info out the man ! I dont think we will learn much tomorrow! apart from the same regurgitated stuff we know already! NNW I saw the title and thought you were running a sweepstake you know How long before he throws teddies out the cot
He could fake a bad connection! Or....puke on air if it's getting too much for him. NNW - You haven't given us enough options - I'm certain he will be on air - but for how long? There must be half a dozen senario's at least! )
i think it was jon marks who tweeted on Saturday that he did, in fact, look ill. I wonder if that was a warning to expect the worst.

they obviously don't want questions beforehand since they say they look forward to hearing from us tomorrow!

I will spend tomorrow composing my question, then decide if I will get a response by phoning in or e-mailing it. By the way he has been too poorly to respond to my e-mail sent to him through the club. He clearly needs a hefty shot of my red wine. Should help his backbone develop.
