    Rumour has it on the South Coast that saints, Nigel Adkins is being lined up as the new Spurs boss, with Harry Redkrap considering a move to Scumhampton as Director of Football. Is this a move you Spuds would welcome, I am sure the Scummers would see it as a positive move for both candidates<ok> Any thoughts from North London?

    There's plenty of smoke without fire and Southampton would have to be very stupid to sack a young manager that just got them two promotions on the spin.
    It'd be a Pompey decision, if you will.

    Its not an argument merely an observation and a rumour here on the South Coast. Dont shoot the messenger but surely you just like Chelski will realise soon enough that AVB is completely inept<laugh>

    Does the rumour say anything about Portsmouth getting in a new manager?
    You know, seeing as you're in the relegation zone in League 1 and the two teams that you mention are in the Premier League and aren't in the bottom three, having both just won on the weekend?

    AVB won't get sacked before Christmas, not unless he goes on a Peterborough-esque losing spree and literally spits in Levy's face.

    As for Adkins I'm not sure he's really ready to take on a job like the Spurs one so I doubt the credibility of your source OP.
