We again arrive at the annual problem for Newcastle. Will we spend? The scenario is the same as previous years. We are useless, lack talent, lack numbers, lack passion, and lack any idea of a plan. We have been here so many times before it is the annual DEJA VU. But this year is different I think. We have showed just about enough in some of the games to convince Ashley that he can get away with spending little or nothing. We all know that if we dont spend we are doomed. There are so many gaps that need plugging there is no way Ashley will allow that sort of spend. So, there we have it, we are fcuked. Championship here we come. I no longer care. He will never sell, and we will be forever, at best, a below average Premier League club from now on. No ambition, no interest, no idea. RIP NUFC.

I never ever wish defeat on my team, however had we have pushed on from lpool and tottenham and got wins against villa, everton and wba, then i would be inclined to say no, however with a guarenteed defeat on the cards against Arsenal and then an FA Cup defeat to Watford, we will be out off all the cups and maybe some distance behind the teams above us.

This i think will be the deciding factor. However I dont think it makes much difference, our best XI On paper being managed correctly is probably a top 10 team. We could have messi, neymar and suarez up front and dummett would still smash balls up to them from 40 yards away!

Only when it is filled with the proceeds of the sale of Sissoko and Perez.

Love Perez, but against Everton and WBA he has been absloute sh!te, would have rather played Thauvin in the central role just behind the srtiker, or bring Wiji inside and play Thauvin on the wing. Anything but Perez or DeJong.

Ayoze is a young lad and is still learing, same for Mitro.
At a normal club these lads would be eased into the first team over a couple of seasons and via the cups... Not thrown in at the deep end like they have been.
Both could go with a rest but where's the cover?....

If we spend anything I will be surprised. If we spend more than 5 million I will be amazed. If we spend 10+ I will be flabbergasted, or expect a player or two to have left. Expect an email from Penfold about there being no value in January................ yadda, yadda, yadda!!!! I think Ashley will gamble again that we will have just enough to scrape up. A gamble too far, this time I fear.

I reckon we will spend a huge chunk of cash to get us out of the situation we are in! This has happened before and will just mean we are bringing forward our summer plans and will have a quieter summer,

Only with sales. There will be no fresh money made available by the club.

Sissoko rumoured to be on his way - Saivet would be his replacement, you grumpy bugger.
