The merciless: 95 points ... possible The centurions: 103 goals ... very possible, these days the 'big 4' score more goals The fortress: 86 games unbeaten at home... maybe not in my lifetime The unbeatables: 15 goals conceded all season... not in my lifetime Thank you Jose, Carlo and Roman.
We clearly weren't the unbeatables as we lost to City (a game we never should have) but we were most certainly the invulnerables only conceding 15 goals. I remember Wild celebrations in 05/06 when Luke Moore ended our clean sheet run.
I was there at Stamford Bridge for that Chelsea 2-1 Villa match. I was shocked when Moore scored. Villa fans were still celebrating their goal when the ref awarded us chelsea a free-kick which Lamps scored from just seconds after Moores goal and Villas celebrations were suddenly muted when they saw Lamps's shot hit the back of the net lmao. Then Lamps scored a penalty his brace to win it in the second half.
Anything is possible in this day and age, never in a billion years woulf I expect us to get beat 5-3 at home, more so United 6-1 to City
We beat your clean sheets record last year! And as for the most managers in 5 years,we destroyed that in just 5 MONTHS!!
i broke Blue is the colour when i trod on it,told my brother to move it[/QUOTE] Good to see you lot can break some sort of record.
Holloway, Gregory, Di canio, Dowie, Sousa, Magilton, Hart, Warnock + Assistant spells from Harford (x2) and Ainsworth (x2). 2005-2010. Beat that!
I was more surprised by our 5-3 than I was by the 6-1. I said from the time us and Arsenal played them at OT and opened them up with ease that a good hiding was only round the corner for Man U.
