A tad on the blowy side up here today and it is absolutely baltic.

Sky looking fairly ominous. Some of my farmer friends warned me that there would be snow today. Looks like they may well be right.

I mean these farmers know their onions. Unlike Michael Fish.

    Anywhere else getting battered?

Yes, positively gale force on the Isle of Man today. For some reason I like sleeping when the weather is bashing your nice warm house, brings out that primeval sense of smugness in man overcoming the elements, or something like that.

Train service in Scotchland has been severely affected.

Now the sun is out!! Typical of this country.

I have no friends - I recently lost my only close one - and this deeply offends me. Can we not make comments about friendless people, as I am upset.

    Thank you in advance.

Same here. I put four of them out last night as the people in my block of flats are lazy. I left a message on the front door telling them to put out the other two as they are both full as well. Only one was put out!! I give up, some people are just tossers.

Bins and rubbish all over the streets. Reminds me of London.

All over the place this morning it's not something you'd want to get hit on the back of the head with, funny if someone else though.

    The farmers were right.

    That's the snow started.

If you want an accurate weather forecast ask farmers and fishermen. It's like a sixth sense for them.

It's a tad breezy down here this morning, the palm trees are gently swaying but not enough to dislodge the coconuts.

    Now the buses are disrupted.

It's the storm before the calm.
