Interesting to see that Wilbraham is still in Lamberts plans, can't imagine he will make any impact on the Premiership, although admittedly has shown signs of class. I have total faith in Lambert so I'm cool with him staying, just odd I thought? Sorry this isn't the greatest thread ever written, but just wanted to share my thoughts! OTBC PC
Baring in mind this will be his last chance to play at the top tier due to his age, I don't think he has done anything wrong in a Norwich shirt to warrant him not getting his chance. He has certainly shown good signs in pre season with a couple of decent goals I hear. I think he deserves a chance.
Sammy He will barely get a game and will most likely figure in reserve games only. However, if he is called upon I'm 100% confident he will give it is all and cause the odd defender a problem or two.
Agreed 100%, if called upon he will do his best. We can not ask for anything more than that from a fringe/reserve player.
Considering he was only signed in January I'm not surprised. I felt he did well just before he got injured.
"Wilbrahamavich" as the lads call him has something to add. He'll no doubt be a second string striker but I feel he accepts that. He is excellent backup and a great utility player should the worse happen. He represents lamberts forward thinking. Plus, he's never done anything wrong, his touch is excellent from what I've seen and when played as the target man he can bring the ball down nicely using his height. Keep the faith in him. He bring far more the the table than Cody in my opinion and just "fits" the squad.
