I would love to see him score 3 more before season end.. actually when you give it some thought his work rate and goals are indeed one of the primary reasons for us being the champs all the others have ben consistent with flashes of brilliance Flint ( his goals) and Freeman with the others doing there bit but Wilbers presence in the box and ability to be our top scorer should give him the vote!
I think he's had a great season given his injury, and his increasing age. It's good to know he'll be there next year, but whether he'll be as effective in the Championship is very debatable in my humble opinion, and I'm sure SC knows it too.
Wilbs had it in his contract that if played a certain number of games he would be here next season - that was triggered sometime ago
Wise move then from his perspective. He will be a useful back up striker (providing we find quality replacements)
