OK so Xray says two fractures, really didn't think it was that bad Friday. Poor bugger walked off too! So is Wilson the replacement? Really??

Wilson's a RB so I doubt it, time for evina to step up as he is our cover LB, or in the worst case move Jackson there and play kerkar/cook at LM. Massive blow losing Wiggins :(

I'd be nervous with Evina at LB. I know this is where he sees himself, but I think he is more suited to the left wing. That said, if CP thinks Evina is ready to step in, then I'm not going to argue with a man who was so prominent in the same position when he played.

Also, such a shame for Wiggins. One of the best players in the team and it will be a massive blow. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Think bad timing too. Just had our run of tough games, chance to bounce back I think. But think evina myself liked him all last season when he got the chance.

Super ~ good point. Cp obviously knows the position better than any other. Big vote of confidence to evina if chosen.

Do we think CP will jump in to the loan market? Or will he wait to see if Evina steps up?

Surely he won't keep Solly (POTY at RB) on the left?

I think CP will wait and see tbh, we have evina, and jj can play there as well as solly (who didn't do too badly on Friday) think there are far more important areas too look at ATM

I'd go with JJ at LB for Derby. Not sure why, so there is no method to my madness. I'd also like to see Kerkar come in at left wing (actually excited to see more of him).

Ooooh my lord!! exactly how much more of him would you like to see?

Derby, I can see Wilson at RB... Solly at LB.... Evina on bench... rest of the team the same. The good Doctor is not one for changing!

I'd think, given how Solly played at Left Back, would go with the Wilson and Solly too.

I hope he don't go with the same formation in the middle. We need Danny Green to start too, or at least one out and out winger. Wagstaff's back in training will be a big player back once he's match fit.

Evina for me, wouldn't want to see Solly out of position. Solly made his debut at left back in 2009 at home to Norwich and was great there so either way we'll be ok, big loss though

Solly looked good at left back on Friday, and he looked alright at LB in the 10-11 season right up until the Millwall match. That's something that I'm a bit worried about. Also involves putting our POTY out of position.

I wasn't so sure about Evina last season. I think this is his time, though.

Will be interesting to see if this changes anything about the system for Powell. Wiggins is a good attacking LB. His loss could bring a change in the team and approach. Stephens' injury last season coincided with our best run of form, so you never know what could come of it.

If he brings in a loan signing like some are suggesting it'll be like when Parky brought in Ikeme rather then playing Randolph. Evina should have a go and as it's been said Jacko can play there too. It's a big loss but I'd rather lose Wiggins then Morro or Cort at the moment. I thought Wilson played okay once he came on so I think he's good back up for Solly so not tooo worried unless Solly would ever be out for a long time. Time for Evina to step up and play well for then next two months (guessing it'll be that long he's out for). Not ideal but not a disaster

Losing Wiggins is a massive blow to how we play.

Id put JJ at left back and Evina on the wing.

I'm more inclined to go down this route, rather than JJ in the middle and Evina at the back.

Really bad news this - hope he makes a speedy and full recovery.

For me, Evina has to come in.

The emergency formation worked on Friday night because it had to, tomorrow night is different. We cannot have the situation where arguably the best RB in the division is playing at left-back, when we have a ready made LB in the wings.

We've never seen Evina play two games running. At Welling, he looked a hell of a lot better going forward than he did defending, but if he only plays once in a while, he's got a limited window of opportunity to make his mark - now's the chance for him to bed properly into the team, thus allowing Wiggins not to constantly have to play 90 minutes each game. Having seen Wilson on Tuesday, I'd now be happy for him to take Chris Solly's place at 65 or 70 minutes for the same reason.

Evina is our reserve LB end of story. If he doesn't play it won't make sense to me, a bit like when Rob Elliott got injured and Parky brought in Ikeme instead of playing Randolph.
