I have zero sympathy or patience for Wigan. They poached Martinez, the back-room staff and our two top goal scorers from us and that condescending, know-it-all, "we're a big club" Whelan ****er deserves every single piece of crap he gets.
When Petty owned us did it makes us a **** team that should have been hated? Or were we a team to be supported, that happened to have an owner the fans didn't like? Is it fair to say that we deserved bad things just because we had a certain owner? Is there a difference between Wigan and Whelan?
That's a great point. And I agree with you that the club and the owner are different entities .... if by that you extend the concept of club to include the die-hard supporters. In my post above, I have nothing against Wigan the club per se, but against the Whelan the person, who unfortunately is the club at this point in time. Also, I should add that I don't harbor any negativity towards Mackay. I understand that the events that lead to his dismissal at Cardiff are still under investigation and until that is concluded he should not be subject to the sort of prejudice that I have read on the BBC site today. When that investigation is completed, if ever, there will either be sanctions or not as the case may be. And, as is my position on Evans, once those sanctions are served, Mackay should then be able to resume is chosen role in his profession.
Good luck to Mackay, glad someone has the guts to give him the break he deserves. I sincerely hope he survives this assassination attempt perpetrated by an arrogant, vindictive megalomaniac with sociopathic tendencies. Hope he moves Wigan back up the table while beating the sh*t out of Cardiff and shoving everything he can up Tan along the way.
See that Vincent Tan has offered up his thoughts on what has transpired at Wigan http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30147475
Thats what I like about Tan ............................ nothing .The league would be better off without Tan rather than either Whelan or Malky.
So Tan's personal vendetta has extended to someone he has no dealings with what-so-ever. Just how spiteful is this immature excuse for a man going to be allowed to get. It didn't take long either, for Slade, Tans gutless coward of a man to come out and attempt to publicly shame Solskjaer, blaming him for being weak and for the squad he has and all of their inadequacies. All done at the same time as Tans new attack on wheelan. Personally I can't wait for the next hissyfit from "I am Tan a coward not a Man"
Not sure what you mean about deserving a break , he's made a name as a player , decent manager at Watford but when given Tan's pin number he sort of lost any semblance of common sense , how much did he spend to assembly a squad of players for the PL ,he lost his job because of allegations of in appropriate behavour then having to say sorry for misdemeanours which again didn't enhance his reputation .I agree on how great it would be to see Wigan smash cardiff but I wish that for any club .
