Well almost. Please sack Mackay, Malky Mackay We don't think you really understand. If you don't sack Mackay, Malky Mackay You're going to have a empty stadium on your hands. All together now.
Dai pal - funnily enough, I've been watching Wigan all season well before Malky replaced Rosler. I'd tipped them for an auto spot and was very pleased (and surprised) when we beat them under Ole early in the season. They never seemed to get going from the start and it wasn't going well, but it's interesting that when Whelan decided to pull the plug on Rosler, they weren't even in the bottom three, now they're in deep ****. Along came Malky and it's got worse for them. A few on here tipped Malky to turn them around when he arrived - I never ascribed to that and said so. He's now had 11 league games there and has got a pathetic 5 points out of a possible 33 since he arrived and it's not improving. I'm not Malky bashing, it's just a personal observation on football in general as I see it. To be able to say that Slade has done a better job for us than Malky is doing for Wigan speaks bloody volumes about the ability of both.
Me too Sparks, I had them for a auto, shows how much we know the song was on Twitter by a Wigan fan, made me smile.
That Wigan home game was one of those rare occasions in recent times when City scrapped hard to hold on for an ugly 1-0 win to go 2nd in the table. It was not that long ago but the change in team and bench personnel is staggering. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28750492 Check out Uwe Rossler's comments about other teams dominating games at CCS. Urr try Boro, Rotherham, Watford, Brentford, Norwich, Derby....
....well there was I thinking a vast majority were singing: Don't sack Mackay, Malky Mackay We just don't think you understand. If you sack Mackay, Malky Mackay You'll have a f**king riot on your hand. Weird ain't it?
