I know he's a current international and all, but I don't think Adomah is rated as high outside of Bristol.

That being said, for a current international for one of the top teams in Africa I think £800k is too little. If Adomah wants out then I'd probably sell, but I think £1M would be the minimum I'd want. If there was more interest then I reckon we could see the figure rise.

The reality is that we're now a third-tier team. We've doubled the number of teams that can provide better money/football than us, so if Adomah wants to walk he's got plenty of places he can go.

    yes they are.............

Double that amount and then let the talking commence..........
any less than 2mil i rather keep him to be fair..........

Mcmanaman would go for 10 mil and he aint 5 times better than ol Alberrrrt mind so at 2 mil its sale of the fcuking century...........

Sooner it's sorted one way or the other the better, If there is an offer on the table then any other interested parties know its time to start walking the walk if they want to sign him.

I like albert but see him as over rated i personally think we should hold on til the end of the window, one of the big championship or lower prem teams will have either a bad start or injury and put in a panic bid wigans just getting the ball rolling 1.2 million is what i think he will go for but hold on and maybe 1.5/6

This is starting to feel like Nick Maynard all over again........
I don't think Albert would lie to us like he did but the endless speculation is getting annoying.
Did the tribunal set a sell-on clause for Barnet and if so does anyone know how much?
Anything away from £800k would leave a pretty poor deal for us.

Can see Wigan looking at him if they are worried than Mcmanaman and maybe Beausejour may be off, but I'd rather have Mcmanaman than Adomah personally

Gentlemen, there are at least 4 clubs after him and if I am not mistaken, we have already rejected a higher bid..?

Wigan, we know you are trying to get your money back for Dave Cotterill but get serious, you are an NPC side now and there are premier league teams interested so £2m now might just beat the competition to it provided Albert doesn't mind going back to the Championship

As for this getting like the Maynard saga, nothing like it. Albert hasn't refused anything or even made any comment yet...

Anything below £1.5m is not good business for us in reality. Albert is over rated IMO but at todays prices he's worth that fee if not more

They are taking the p---, but like anything, a house, car etc Albert is worth what someone is prepared to pay us.

If that doesnt look like good business, we dont have to sell, but the value gets lower and lower each day until he goes for free.Albert has made no desire to get away, and seems content to stay, but from rumours does seem that geography and location are key-

Type of player who can be devestating on his day,but not seen regularly enough to command big money-Will be missed but not sure how he fits into SO'Ds plans given the amount of game time he had after the African nations cup anyway-

Not sure if that was due to S O'D not wanting to play him or looking at what we were going to have left when he went either way the answer was that without him we had no attacking threat at all and with him we had very little Davies and Baldock showed very little of the threat they were supposedly going to be to Championship defences with Albert playing and without him half the time you had to wonder if they were even playing, to be honest last season after the first month or so with a few exceptions no one picked to play seemed to be in the slightest bothered if we won or lost.
