Just posting here if anyone on this forum wants tickets for the Wigan game or knows of someone who will benefit from this just let me know and I’ll pass you on my code so you can get the tickets for £20.
Thanks for the offer Tom but for me the return airfare from Vancouver Island would make it cost prohibitive.
So it is in our hands win tomorrow and we go second amazing when you consider the injuries at our club six first team players out injured for the majority of the season
RR - for once I totally agree with you. Time for Rodri to show us what he can do perhaps? I’ve found a bar in the Costa which will be showing it - if any of you guys are around in Spain feel free to join me!
I know it’s only 14 matches in but there are only 5 points between top and 12th , how tight is that , we’ve done amazingly well so far whatever the result today. Whilst 2nd would be nice positions don’t matter to much yet whilst it’s so close, as a couple of bad results could see us drop quite a way.so I won’t get too carried away. Does anyone know when our players are due back? , I think its around Christmas for Kory and into the New year for Jay, not sure about Nagy and Kalas as I thought they’d both be ready by now. I do remember Nagy had an injection recently so hopefully he’ll be back soon.
To me at this stage of the season, every point we gain, is a point, securing us again of at least another season in the 2nd tier of English football....something we've struggled to do consistently since the 70s........
We are once again showing our lack of attacking prowess, we have almost 60-40% possession, yet Wigan have managed twice the amount of attempts that we have.
Lack lustre performance, passing & movement most of the time was dreadful...we have nobody taking control in midfield....but hey, it's a point..
Top 6 whilst playing poorly with a makeshift side - just think what we’d be doing if we had our first team fit...!
Agree, from what I saw of Nagy, he will be that midfield player. Also, Kalas will add strength to the defence. We are doing well given that we have 4 or 5 definite starters out at the moment, as well as 2 or 3 first choice back-ups, so we have to be happy to be 6th.
Why take off Taylor Moore and leave the two slowest defenders on the pitch? Only player I thought up for it was CoD
Today was a bit disappointing, but against the Wigan’s of this world you miss players like Kalas , Nagy and Fam. Their a big physical side and at times today we were put muscled. The ref didn’t help as he seemed happy for players to be manhandled off the ball, Palmer in particular could do no right in his eyes . I’m happy with 6th all things considered, As players come back from injury Lee needs to be able to handle some players not playing as often as they are at present. I remember being in a similar position a couple of years ago and our form actually dipped once the players were back from injury, he has to avoid a repeat.
