Of all the clubs at the bottom they are the one team i want to go down. They are kidding themselves on they are a premier league club. They have a fan base of about 14,000. But the final straw is they are returning 10,000 tickets for the FA cup semi final. If we got there we could fill the whole stadium. Club with no fans no class, if they do go down with QPR and Reading the average loss in attendances would be about 64,000. And at least 8,000 of that is from away fans.

I don't mind them. Their manager, apart from his bad decision not to apologise for the bad challenge, is a good bloke, and Wigan play good football.

They are entertaining to watch because they are so inconsistent. It's fun to see them get hammered, and it's also fun to see them slap the bookies in the face by staying up and pulling off some amazing results. I laughed my backside off when they beat Man Utd 1-0.

They are not a boring team, and I'd prefer them to stay up instead of a mediocre, boring mid table side. It's always interesting to see what's going to happen with Wigan. But then again, could their inconsistency become tiresome and predictable eventually?

    We will see.

Not nice for fans as for Martinez and Whelan think they might enjoy a turn in The Championship, bring them down to earth.

Any club that returns 14,000 Wembley tickets doesn't deserve to be a PL club.

It's all well and good saying we want Wigan to get relegated, however has anyone considered the 17shillings & 4pence loss of gate receipts we will miss out on next year.

Martinez, while stopping short of apologising, did say that it was a bad tackle, and that Mcnutcase would apologise (which Mcnutcase decided not to do).

It isn't over till the Fat Lady sings and she isn't singing yet.

    13 Newcastle 33 -17 36
    14 Norwich 33 -21 35
    15 Sunderland 33 -8 34
    16 Stoke 33 -13 34
    17 Aston Villa 33 -24 34
    18 Wigan 31 -20 31
    19 QPR 33 -25 24
    20 Reading 33 -27 24

I'd bet on us staying up though.

Wigan have two games in hand over the rest of the bottom eight giving them the potential for 37 points and eigth from bottom. One of those games is £ity (can`t see them getting much there), does anyone know who the other game is against?
