Not to change the subject, but my missus opened the washing machine door this morning and the drum was full of water, any ideas what is wrong with it. I was thinking the problem might be a blockage in the drainage pipe, have any of any ideas on the matter? Thanks in advance, guise

That doesn't tell me why it filled up with water overnight while it was switched off though.

 

Drain hose or pump,maybe some ones smalls stuck in either,hope this helps

 

Try spin and rinse if not then follow this simple diagnosis.

Trying putting it on a rinse cycle then drain it.

At the bottom of your machine, at the front, there should be an outflow pipe thingy. It will flood your floor but empty the machine.
