    Now is the chance for Wycombe and Gareth Ainsworth,in particular, to show that they are true sportsmen. They will recognise that they are in 3rd position by default thanks to a fantasist linesman.

    They will courteously draw with Southend and hope that Shrewsbury stuff it up against Oxford.

    i suspect there will be much wobbling wailing and gnashing of teeth and beating of breasts on saturday afternoon as i am arranging for 11 dishes of iffy cockles whelks and jellied eels to be delivered from southend to the wobblers dressing room. i just hope your team are not on the baked beans as well, as the wobblers could be be playing in pampers and or tenalady er floreat salopia
