Why are there so many pointless threads on this forum? I know there hasn't been much football lately but come on. I don't mind the sexy poll though. Ironically I have now added to the pointless list with this.
Because we have the freedom to do so. On old 606 they wouldnt last 5 minutes but here we're moderated by users. We are trying to cut down though to be fair.
It's about taste mate, I personally think the sexy poll is the most annoying because I don't know how anyone can have a debate over who is attractive or not. Most of the posts on there may as well be on a porn forum imo. I like the funny stuff better but some people think they're a waste of space so each to their own I guess!
Maybe you should've posted a poll asking if folks want loads of random threads and polls or not? Agree mind about random opportunities to post pics of good (and bad) girls though.
Aye, as the others have said, it's freedom and taste...This site has become as much about craic and entertainment as football! I don't mind the articles, if I don't have anything to say about them I just don't, simple as that!
Agreed! It's a football based forum but all kinds of banter are welcome. What about the epic RIP thread on "Help with women"? It was mint! I prefer this to facebook for banter cos it's more like being in a pub with some mates!
Is there no chance of a subforum for all the bollocks though? Or a subforum for the footie stuff at this rate? I'm happy to see some banter, but when I'm actually looking for some football discussion I have to wade through thread after thread of absolute nonsense first. At least start titling threads better, including this one!
Good point, maybe something to consider for MalteseMick would be to add a subject box when creating a thread ie; "General interest", "Just for fun", "Transfer news" and "Injury News" to name a few. What you reckon?
Titling is fair enough....Or even adopt a system where the threads are colour coded? One of football, one for non-football!
And a third colour to ensure you avoid a Bartons Tash article? Sorry fella, to be fair you have been getting better recently...
The thread titles give away whats inside though, so colour coding seems pointless! I love the football chat but the banter makes a good getaway, there's only so many formations we can post!

All of the threads don't annoy me. It's good that we can talk about whatever. What does annoy me though is when someone creates a whole new thread about something they could have just posted in a thread a bit further down.
