Quite simply by being at the match you don't have to listen to biased one sided commentary.
I watched Sunderland play some of the best "football" I have seen in my years of supporting SAFC, on ESPN HD yesterday.

In the company of a couple of friends and Chris ****ing Waddle!
Waddle the supposed "Sunderland fan" was so biased against Sunderland the **** should have had his Spuds top on!
Every decision that the Ref deigned to give to us was "Sunderland was lucky to get that decision."
    Were we ****ing what lucky!
We were lucky to get any decision.
Spuds players making numerous fouls not even a ****ing warning, Muntari's accidental contact with a Spud and an instant yellow, no other contact with a spud previously , bloody disgraceful.
Every chance he got Waddle was having a pop at Sunderland play and players and praising Spurs.
He even managed to get in his trade mark "pelanty" ****ing numpty.
"That was never a "pelanty" for Sunderland"
There were many many more examples too numerous to mention.
Trust me those of you lucky enough to be at the match were in the best place as there could have been a lot of broken telly's.<ok>
The guy is an ****ing idiot of the highest order.
I have met him a couple of times over the years and thought he was thick as pigshit then, if we cross paths again I shall have no hesitation of saying it to his face.

I'm not going to go into the ins and outs of the match as I'm going to read all your comments now. <ok>

I will just say, Bent would never have scored the goal Gyan did.

It wasn't the best of crosses to him yet he managed to control it perfectly, whilst changing his body shape, to twist and shoot.
Gyan makes Bent look like a weekend footballer.

Bent was subbed for Villa as this all round improvement that Cappelo has seen with him there, turned out to be bullshit as they are finding out. He is so one dimensional when he turns sideways he becomes invisible.

For somebody that watches the games from a distance all of the time This is great for me I played for football in Germany where they really appreciate a cool finish i remember a coach once describing a striker as always being "uberrascht" ....."Surprised" when he scored.....I know exactly what he meant..i think that was the reason HR didnt like him (Bent) ...hes one of them......There must be loads of PL managers looking at Gyan now knowing hes the real deal....apart from Rooneys yesterday his was the best for me....

Aye Rooney's was a hell of a finish. I still think his best was when he was arguing with the ref, saw Utd attacking said to the ref"Hold on a minute Ill be back" then ran forward and hit that volley that nearly took off the net. :)

I honestly believe Bent going could be the best thing that happened at SAFC, we are playing the sort of football I have had to watch other teams playing. The first half up to the equaliser was class, with players to come back things can only get better. >ok?

Great feedback MR....Bruces gamble not to panic buy is understandable I dont care about the odd Da Silva cockup.....If hes gonna pick up Gyans as Sessegnons then youve gotta back him...How did Sessegnon do by the way Mack do you think hed play better in 442 or is it still too early?

As long as we don't revert to hoof ball, the guy could play anywhere in my opinion.
Ok it's only a couple of games, in my humble opinion the young man could become a Sunderland legend, ala SKP!

He is so confident and competent on the ball it's a joy to watch, once he gets used to his team mates and they learn what he can do, we will be fighting off other teams to keep him.
Personally I would give him a free role behind the striker or strikers.

Great just what I wanted to hear....again you never get that kind of feedback from either news or pundits....its about time we had some "players".... it gives everybody a lift The standard Allerdyce move is to go for a six foot eight Samba type player....Somebodys gotta buy a Zola and get it right as well but hes got to be a player.... Bruce has had his share of Sambas I hope it works when the strikers come back... I live in France some of the time...gotta French mate supports PSG...sick when he left....but you can never tell whether they`ll settle/be up to speed .....Im guessing but maybe you think hed be better there eventually than Richardson even tho KR has chipped in with a couple?

Decent article, good responses, agree with most, but not unhappy with my disagreements, cos time will tell, if you are right or wrong.
