If we finish 3rd we drop into the Europa League, and I'd say we'd have a very good chance of winning that competition. Just sayin' because it's never gonna happen in the champo league, so why not? If we finished 5th (which is looking quite likely sadly) or lower but won the europa league, I would be happy with the season. What say you?

Yeah but the pools can't even get into it! No but seriously I'd take a Europa Cup. We would actually have a good chance of winning it.
If we ended up in the plastic euro cup i'd not be happy. And if more than a handful of first team players played in it i'd be even more disappointed Put the kids/fringe players in it, give the first team players more of a rest and more of a focus on the FA cup/league.
How many people do you think would bother to show up for a Europa cup game ? I'd be surprised if there were more than 30k
Anything other than aiming for the best we can do is not good enough. Even if we fail, we shouldn't be directing our ambitions any lower.
