Stability has been a buzzword ever since our 'revolving door' managerial policy under Flavio. MH was seen as the man to deliver that stability in keeping us up against the odds and vowing "Never again on my watch".

Sadly, the summer was spent making some strange signings, injury-prone AJ from Fulham, Robert Green from West Ham only to be replaced by Julio Cesar at the end of the window. Stephane M'Bia a reluctant recruit to dispose of our Joey. But no commanding centre-back, no specialist left back, two areas that have been problematic since promotion and no out and out goalscorer despite off-loading HH who had been in the form of his life till he was injured.

The net result of this strange transfer policy is a disjointed and unbalanced side which I would put money on that MH still doesn't know which is his best eleven, best formation or have any tactical planning that all players are comfortable with. That shows again and again in matches when we play like total strangers, can't string three passes together and inevitably concede through poor defending.

Sorry to say I think MH has had his chance (over the summer) and from game 1, the horrendous display against Swansea we have looked exactly what the league table says, relegation candidates. A decent display against Chelsea flattered to deceive, it's no good saying we should have beat Spurs, we lost and Wigan showed how to do it yesterday. Since those two brief signs of improvement we've played poorly and paid the price. 4 points from 10 matches speaks for itself, it's time for a change...

We need stability but the only manager out of the last 10 that deserved the job was Warnock.

Hughes was the wrong man for the job, I said it at the time and nothing convinced me otherwise. Sacking him isnt wrong, hiring him in the 1st place was wrong.

Worryingly I agree with flyer. Hughes has flattered to decieve from day one. All the good work off fiend is being undone by the wrong man managing the playing squad

I liked warnock but it was time for him to go but I've never rated Hughes as a manager and I detest the clogging card ridden side of his game. That's never been us and hopefully won't be for much longer

Well you do seem to occupy one extreme end of the spectrum old chap whereas I float across the whole gamut of rangers emotions. Today I find myself at your end of the range. It's slightly to the right of my normal position but I concur with your Hughes analysis

No-one wants to go through the shyte a change of manager causes, but when the situation reaches the point of no return it has to be done. The financial future of the club may well be at stake and a change can be no worse than sitting back and seeing us fail without a whimper.

Some are concerned about Redknapp but his skills in getting the best out of players is there for all to see, and even if he can't keep us up I reckon he'd be the right man to bring us straight back up...

"Neil Warnock has beaten more Premier League teams so far this season than Mark Hughes has"

I started off not wanting him in the 1st place. It take me a long time to get to an opinion and it rarely changes once I get there. No manager Ive wanted sacked has ever changed it around and recovered.

3 points still wouldnt have convinced me he should stay on.

Which other manager would not pick Faurlin????

Even if he doesn't play what appears to be all our favoured formation with him, diakite and granero in a midfield 3 of some shape with taraabt and hoilett providing width behind Cisse...:he's still our best player and has demonstrated his quality at this level......inexplicable when he was picking SWP & Park ahead of him

Should never had got rid of Warnock, you get what you deserve, lucky to stay up last year! Your luck won't be with you this year.

Both Rangercol and I have wanted Faurlin and Diakite with Granero ahead of them so we can outnumber them in midfield, then Hoilett and Taarabt on the wings in a 4231.

Everyone around me in the crowd today was saying the same. Also, into the ground and leaving the ground all I could hear was people saying Faurlin should be in the team and Hughes should be sacked! (Oh...also in the bogs too)
